My Jetta only has liability insurance due to being totaled from hail damage while I lived in Texas, so no insurance money for me. I’ll still drive it till the engine seizes.

I talked to my buddy, hes a pretty big vw guy, he told me he can do one in about 8 hours..and he would never try to do it on the ground..... i was having this conversation on my back, on the ground, never having attempted this... fuck me...it took me the better part of 8hrs just to get the fucker out...

On my Juke the turbo is behind the engine. To remove the turbo I would need to remove the engine.

haha ... on my Saab 900 the turbo is pretty darn accessible, but I have no idea how hard it would be to replace. What car is this?

Time for a beer. My wife drives a BMW with the N20 emgine amd her turbo looks like a PIA to get out. Thanks Germany!
